Fitmetrics takes the protection of your personal data very seriously and is committed to handling it responsibly, transparently, confidentially and securely.

This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used and shared when you visit or make a purchase from www.fitmetrics.ch (the "Site").
It applies to all content, products and services on the fitmetrics website.

  • The service providers and subcontractors we use to ensure the smooth operation of our site and Services, in particular our hosting provider and payment service providers for paid services to which you have subscribed, such as credit card issuers or operators of partner applications such as Stripe, Datatrans, Postfinance or Worldline, may have access to your Data and process it on our behalf. In accordance with applicable legal obligations, we take commercially reasonable steps to require such third parties to adequately protect your information and to use it only in accordance with our guidelines. It is important to note that the processing of personal data and payment information is carried out directly by the relevant payment system provider. We do not access or store your payment data. We only receive payment status information, which enables us to provide our services or activate the Services you have subscribed to. The data protection policies of the relevant online payment system provider apply, and we encourage you to consult them.
  • Any third party from whom we have been ordered or required to disclose your Data by a court order or governmental authority.
  • Any entity likely to intervene for emergency purposes requiring such disclosure.
  • In addition, we may also need to disclose your Data in connection with the performance of Our legal obligations or legal proceedings to defend our interests, as well as in connection with any restructuring, merger or other transaction leading to a transfer of all or part of our business.

Under no circumstances will your data be sold to third parties, in particular for marketing or promotional purposes.

Your Data is securely hosted by Infomaniak Newtwork SA, whose servers are located in Switzerland.

We are committed to ensuring the security of your data.

To this end, we use various technologies and security measures to protect your Data from unauthorized access, use, modification or disclosure at a level appropriate to the type of Data concerned.

In addition, we endeavour to contractually ensure that the above-mentioned service providers we use treat your Data in an equally secure manner in order to ensure its confidentiality and integrity.

Despite our best efforts, it is not possible to fully guarantee the security of information exchanged over the Internet. You therefore understand that any data you transmit is done so at your own risk, and that we exclude all liability for the loss of data or for its consultation or use by unauthorized persons.

7. How long do we keep your Data?

We retain your Data for as long as you subscribe to our Services. The length of time we keep your Data depends on its purpose. In principle, we keep it for ten years, which is the period during which you may have contractual claims against us.

8. Use of cookies

When you browse our site, we use cookies for statistical purposes. These cookies are used to assess the number of visitors and the use made of our site by Internet users, in order to continually improve its navigability and the relevance of the content offered.

The servers automatically record information of a general nature concerning your navigation. Statistical analysis of this information enables us to continually improve our site. It is carried out by Google Analytics.

Data collected includes IP address, geographical origin, date of visit, duration, pages consulted and their sequence. They are anonymized and we do not analyze individual paths. We do not share them with other organizations for commercial purposes, nor do we transmit them to other sites.

All cookies used on our site have a lifetime of 14 months, after which they are automatically deleted. You can delete cookies at any time before this period expires, by selecting the "delete/delete cookies" option in your browser settings.
